Tadweer In Partnership Explores Investment Opportunities In The Waste Management Sector | |

A report says the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) to explore potential investment opportunities in the waste management and recycling sector.
The MoU was signed by Eng. Ali Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of Tadweer, and Eng. Ziyad Al Shiha, Group CEO of the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), at SIRC’s headquarters in Saudi Arabia, in the presence of a number of officials from both parties.

Under the terms of the MoU, both parties will try to improve their ability to work together and look for investment opportunities in regional and global markets. They will also talk about ways to adopt the best recycling technology and solutions and work to find ways to treat and turn municipal solid waste into energy and sustainable aviation fuel.
The two parties will also explore opportunities for cooperation in training, capacity building, and creating awareness in the sector, in addition to conducting studies and research and exchanging knowledge and expertise in the field, according to the report.
Eng. Ali Al Dhaheri, CEO of Tadweer, said, "This agreement is a significant step towards developing potential investment opportunities in the waste management sector in Saudi Arabia and internationally by exchanging expertise and knowledge with SIRC to reach effective investment solutions for waste treatment and utilise waste in various sectors."

According to Al Dhaheri, Tadweer is committed to establishing partnerships and cooperating with local and international companies specialised in the waste management sector, particularly in Saudi Arabia, with the aim of supporting various sectors in the two countries that are responsible for providing a healthy and safe environment for people.
report concluded, Tadweer has recently signed five operations contracts with a value of over AED 2 billion at the EcoWaste 2023 Exhibition and Forum.
The contracts, which were signed with Alphamed Abu Dhabi LLC and Terberg RosRoca Vehicle Manufacturing, Beeah Sharjah Environment Company LLC, Averda Waste Management LLC, and JV Lavajet Al Ain/Nael & Bin Harmal Hydroexport LLC (NBHH), cover solid waste collection and transportation services, public cleaning services in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and waste container management and maintenance in Abu Dhabi.
