According to the report, in an exclusive interview with Mohammed Al Qahtani, KSA Country Manager for LS Electric, "we gained insights into the company’s expansion plans and scope of work for ongoing and completed projects in the kingdom."
"LS Electric takes great pride in being a major partner to local Saudi Arabian manufacturers, supplying them with various products, including air circuit breakers for unit substations," said Al Qahtani. Moreover, LS Electric’s long-standing partnership with Alfanar Construction for medium-voltage vacuum circuit breakers has been a source of pride for the company, according to Al Qahtani, as it now has a market share exceeding 80% in the kingdom. "Our partnership is poised to expand further, with new products expected to be added to our portfolio in the near future," he added.
When asked about the challenges LS Electric anticipates in the kingdom for 2023, especially with rising inflation, Al Qahtani spoke about production capacity, the raw materials supply chain, and logistics. "We plan to address these challenges by relying on our digital transformation results and intelligence-based smart factories, which have allowed us to significantly increase production capacity." Hence, we are confident we can meet the high demand we anticipate throughout the year.
