JLL, an investment management and real estate consulting firm, has announced the opening of its new LEED Platinum-certified, designed on the principles of the future workplace, according to the news.
Fully embracing the needs of a dynamic, hybrid working environment, the multifunctional new office at ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) supports a liquid workforce and is built to the highest standards of sustainability, prioritising employee wellbeing and productivity.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the dignitaries were told how the use of biophilic elements and green features makes the transition to the future of work more functional and has a positive effect on health and happiness.
Commenting on a net zero future report added, the future-ready, green, and sustainable workplace brings JLL one step closer to fulfilling its own sustainability targets and is in line with the UAE’s ambitious Net Zero by 2050 initiative and decarbonization drive.

According to the report, investing in quality office space is gaining priority as dynamic working patterns lead to a paradigm shift in the world of work.

JLL's new office is certified by the globally recognised symbol of excellence in green building, LEED Gold, and WELL Gold Certification, as JLL sets a new benchmark for sustainable, healthy, energy-efficient, and future-ready offices in the region.
According to the report, the new office has optimised the use of natural resources to achieve energy savings of 17%. A biophilic design that connects people to nature creates a high-quality indoor environment while minimising negative environmental and human health consequences.
Adhering to the WELL Building Standard, the industry’s leading health-focused benchmark for buildings, JLL has also incorporated best practises in design and construction with evidence-based health and wellness interventions.
