CAFU's Revolutionary Tech Breeds 1 Million Ghaf Trees | |

Dubai-based technology and car services provider CAFU has developed an autonomous and unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to accelerate its commitment to planting one million Ghaf tree seeds across the UAE.
The custom seedball planting technology and tracks specifically designed for desert conditions are expected to quadruple the number of seeds planted and ensure their survival.

This initiative is part of the Ghaf Tree Project, launched by CAFU last year to regreen barren ecosystems across the Emirates.
CAFU has recently pounced on this robotic solution after extensive R&D to optimise the viability of Ghaf seeds in arid conditions.
CAFU has collaborated with the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) for research and development on seed optimisation and viability. The launch of this first-of-its-kind planting technology marks a significant milestone in CAFU's ongoing commitment to a greener future and supporting the UAE's ecosystem.
The Ghaf tree is known for its ability to survive and prosper in harsh environmental conditions, and its planting will help address the global challenge of climate change and support the UAE's goal to become net-zero by 2050.
