Nama, the Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company, has made history by launching floating and mobile water desalination plants in the Musandam Governorate, the first of their kind in the Arab world.

These plants use reverse osmosis technology and will benefit 70 marine villages in the region.
They also employ traditional craft industries and promote investment in the country, supporting small and medium-sized projects as well as commercial, tourism, and fishing activities.
