ADNOC Signs Agreements To Strengthen Hydrogen Value Chain
According to the report, the agreements aim to explore the production, liquefaction, and transportation of hydrogen to key global markets and confirm clean certification for ADNOC’s low-carbon ammonia projects.
These strategic agreements demonstrate ADNOC’s commitment to working with its customers to decarbonize the energy system and meet the growing global demand for clean fuels.
It further mentions that, as both energy sources emit no carbon dioxide, they will play a key role in decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors.
The agreements were signed in Sapporo, Japan, and witnessed by H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber and H.E. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry. ADNOC is an early mover in developing global markets for hydrogen and its carrier fuels, such as ammonia.
