The city will be designed for walkability or powered by hydrogen transportation, reducing the need for cars and other polluting vehicles. Most communities will be waterfront, taking advantage of the ocean's natural moderating effects to cool and control the temperature.
The primary focus of Oxagon will be on advanced and clean manufacturing, supported by a Research and Development District, a next-generation port, and integrated supply chain and logistics solutions. Already, Oxagon has some confirmed tenants, including the hydrogen project between Air Products, ACWA Power, and NEOM, and McLaren, which has signed up to be a founding tenant and technical partner in the Research and Development District.
