Saudi Cabinet Approves Agreements With Iran, China, And More
The Cabinet emphasised the importance of implementing plans to increase mutual trust and expand cooperation with Iran in order to achieve security and stability throughout the region.
One of the agreements approved during the session was between the Ministry of Energy in the Kingdom and the National Energy Administration of the People’s Republic of China for the purpose of working together in the area of clean hydrogen.
Additionally, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of the Kingdom and China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs discussed the possibility of signing an MoU.
The Cabinet also discussed expanding cooperation with Turkey in the energy sector through an MoU. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the area of environmental protection by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of the Kingdom and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan.
Finally, the Cabinet approved an MoU to encourage and promote investment in Thailand. Overall, the Cabinet’s decisions aim to increase cooperation and trust with various countries while promoting economic and environmental goals.
