Neom To Introduce Luxury Island With High-Quality Amenities
Sindalah, a luxury island destination set to open in 2024, will be the first physical project of NEOM, Saudi Arabia's multi-billion-dollar mega-project. Covering an area of approximately 840,000 square metres, Sindalah is expected to create 3,500 jobs in the sectors of tourism, hospitality, and leisure.
With a year-round pleasant climate, the island is poised to become a next-generation yachting destination. It will also act as a main gateway to the Red Sea, offering customised nautical experiences. Sindalah will have a yacht club, three luxury resorts, a spa, over 50 luxury brands, 86 piers, and will be accessible to all other projects within NEOM.
Sindalah will be home to luxury hotels and resorts, including two The Luxury Collection hotels, an Autograph Collection hotel, and the recently announced Four Seasons Resort. Marriott International signed a multi-deal agreement for the properties, with the opening of the hotels as early as 2024.
These properties will offer a mix of 70 luxury rooms and suites, including villas featuring private pools. The Autograph Collection hotels will open in 2024 with six rooms and suites, dining options, a kids club, and a spa. The Four Seasons resort will feature 225 rooms and suites overlooking the Red Sea and will also offer 52 villas ranging from one to four bedrooms with features including plunge pools and beach views.
The resort will cater to those seeking an active holiday with access to a fitness centre, multiple indoor and outdoor pools, and a range of water activities. The island will offer enhanced liveability and be a luxury lifestyle destination. The advanced technology of the golfing destination and easy access to the NEOM mainland via seaboat or ferry are some of the other unique features of Sindalah.
