Dubai's Supreme Council: Leading The Way In Clean Energy | |

The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) held its 76th meeting virtually, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, to discuss the progress of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park phases.
The solar park aims to provide 100% of Dubai’s total power capacity from clean energy sources by 2050, with a production capacity of 2,327 MW and an additional 533 MW underway.

The 1,800 MW 6th phase of the solar park is set to reach 5,000 MW of production capacity by 2030.
The meeting also discussed the Hatta hydroelectric power plant, which is 70% complete, and the operation of the region’s first green hydrogen production facility.
DEWA has launched nanosatellites to enhance the digitalization of power and water networks, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
Emirates Gas introduced LPG composite cylinders to the local market in Dubai, promoting safety and ease of use.
The DSCE is committed to implementing renewable and clean energy projects in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to promote sustainable development and a green economy.
