Bahrain Metro Project Set to Soar
The project will involve the construction of a 3030-kilometer network with 20 stations, including two interchanges at Bab Al Bahrain and Al Farooq.
The initial metro line will connect Bahrain International Airport to Seef Mall, passing through Airport Avenue and King Faisal Highway, with nine stops along the way.
The second metro line will link Juffair and Isa Town, covering a distance of 15.6 km and incorporating 11 stations.
The Ministry of Health has also disclosed plans for the expansion of the Salmaniya Medical Complex, the construction of new clinics, and the completion of the Qalali Health Centre, which will receive funding from various sources.
The project will require collaboration with domestic and international commercial businesses. The Bahrain Metro Project is a significant step towards modernising the country's infrastructure and improving public transportation.
