Eco-Friendly Upgrade: Tadweer's New Recycling Containers | |

Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer) has launched a new initiative to improve waste segregation and recycling practices in the Emirate.

Tadweer's strategy includes the rollout of larger-capacity green recycling containers in central locations, with designated black bins for non-reusable waste.
Separate vehicles will collect each type of receptacle, with recyclables transported to Tadweer's recycling facility for further processing.
The company has also deployed 20 larger Community Recycling Centers (CRCs) for the disposal of a range of recyclables, including textiles and electronic waste.
Tadweer is driving a city-wide awareness campaign to encourage public participation in increasing recycling, with the goal of making Abu Dhabi and Al Ain two of the world's cleanest and most sustainable cities.
The initiative is part of the UAE's Year of Sustainability and aims to build lasting practices that limit environmental impact and preserve the planet.
