Eaton Bolsters Presence In Middle East
The move aims to position Eaton as the "single source" manufacturer of low-voltage switchgear and distribution boards, catering to a diverse clientele in the Middle East, including end users, engineering, procurement, and construction firms (EPCs), as well as commercial contractors.
Market research indicates that the Middle East switchgears sector is poised for substantial growth, with an estimated market size projected to reach $10.58bn by 2023.
Eaton has successfully executed its inaugural localised xEnergy and Distribution Board orders in key Middle Eastern countries, namely the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
By establishing manufacturing facilities in strategically central locations, Eaton aims to expedite project timelines significantly and enhance its ability to cater to customers’ specific needs, all while maintaining a high degree of flexibility in service delivery.
Earlier this year, Eaton Middle East unveiled its inaugural Customer Experience Centre (CEC) at its regional headquarters in Dubai, UAE.
“This new initiative with our local partners will enable us to serve our customers better, customize electrical products according to the demands of a project and address the most critical power management challenges in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt,” said Ashraf Yehia, Managing Director, Eaton Middle East.
“This move also demonstrates our commitment to the local manufacturing sector and the drive towards sustainable energy products in alignment with Net-Zero commitments in the region.” Added Yehia.
This state-of-the-art facility showcases an extensive range of products, spanning from intelligent power management and industrial control systems to critical power systems, power quality solutions, and applications tailored for the oil and gas as well as utility sectors.
