Sudan Signs MoU With UAE For Agriculture project | |

African Sudan has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the UAE for a project on agriculture that is largely linked via a straight road route. The other project is to build a port on the Red Sea.

The two sides are working on the finer nuances of the design and project, the Finance Minister informed the press in a brief statement without offering further details.
The country has significant untapped agricultural potential, but there is also the fact that previous foreign investments have had to face local resistance and logistical problems.
