Launching the PtL roadmap, Sharif Al Olama, under-secretary of the ministry of energy and infrastructure for the energy and petroleum sector, said, “The UAE has exerted significant efforts to launch distinguished projects and initiatives in the energy sector, most notably in clean energy, to support the UAE Net Zero by 2050 strategic initiative and in line with the Paris Climate Agreement,” emphasising the efforts to enhance the country’s overall stature.
He said the UAE was closely cooperating with regional and international partners, with the aim of achieving sustainability in the energy sector.
