With IBM's help, Water Transmissions and Technologies Company (WTTCO) was able to go live in under six months, a new record. This was made possible by IBM Consulting's assistance. WTTCO has been able to significantly increase efficiency, save expenses, and increase productivity thanks to the standardised methods of work that are part of the centralised S/4HANA solutions. More importantly, WTTCO's performance reporting capabilities have been revolutionised because to the implementation of Data Driven Analytics.
WTTCO's decision-makers will be better equipped to steer the company toward success with access to more detailed business data. WTTCO has also implemented SAP S/4HANA Fiori mobile technology, which allows for efficient work in and out of the office by providing an optimised, consistent user experience across desktop, laptop, mobile, and tablet devices. IBM is also helping WTTCO adopt SAP's Environment, Health, and Safety Module (EHS) and governance, risk, and compliance module (GRC), both of which will improve the company's ability to manage its impact on the environment and comply with regulatory requirements. The adoption of EHS will allow WTTCO to keep track of climate-related incidents and risks, allowing for the timely implementation of remedial and preventative actions. They can now do so inside a GRC-provided SoD framework that places a premium on accountability, trustworthiness, openness, and ethics.
Dr. Tariq A. Alnaeem, CEO, WTTCO, said: "The company was established to develop water transport systems, strategic storage and lead the technical transformation of its core operations. Our partnership with IBM is fully geared towards these objectives. By leveraging the company's expertise and resources, we have taken another important step towards providing quality services that help to automate operations and increase operational efficiency, thereby directly contributing to reducing operational costs and ensuring business continuity. "
Dina Abo Onoq, Managing Partner, IBM Consulting, KSA said “IBM believes that sustainable enterprises need to be responsible, equitable and viable to drive sustainability outcomes while expanding economic opportunities.” In addition she stated “Sustainability is very much embedded in IBM's DNA, and this has not only been reiterated over the years. By partnering with IBM, WTTCO is now better placed to enable new business models, drive social impact at scale and make a lasting, positive impact to inspire the world to work better.”
