Glyn Hughes, Director General of TIACA, moderated a panel that discussed the bright future of air cargo and aviation. The panellists were optimistic about the industry's prospects because of the rapid pace of digitalization and the increased emphasis on sustainability brought about by the rise of electric aircraft and sustainable aviation fuel.

Having placed an order with Eviation for 12 totally electric Alice eCargo planes, DHL has made a major step toward establishing the first Electric Aviation Network, cementing its position as a leader in the sustainability sphere. In addition, the company is working with Neste and bp to maximise the usage of Sustainable Aviation Fuel and speed up the electrification of its last-mile delivery fleet.
