Crown Prince Sheikha Shamma In addition to highlighting the important role women play in sustainability and climate action in the UAE, the addition of a Middle Easterner to the advisory board also marks the first time a person from the Middle East has taken on an advisory role for the international, non-profit advisory organisation. A more sustainable, circular, and green economy will be achieved through the Middle Eastern representation, which will definitely lead to deeper insights and knowledge through collaboration.
Sheikha Shamma stated, “I’m extremely proud to be the first person from the region to be part of CEMUNE’s Advisory Board, and I am pleased to be able to bring my unique perspectives representing my region.”
