The inaugural DIFC Art Nights event featured a well-attended panel discussion on the topic of "Art as an Investment," moderated by Meagan Kelly Horsman, Managing Director for Christie's Middle East and North Africa; Gilles Dylan, CEO & President of Opera Gallery Group; and Sylvain P. Gaillard, Director of Opera Gallery. The panellists stressed the consistent return on investment (ROI) seen in art purchases, saying that an investment in high-quality artwork acquired at a fair price has a good chance of outperforming the S&P 500.
