A report says Armstrong Fluid Technology, a leading innovator in the design and manufacturing of intelligent fluid-flow and control solutions, received the award for Smart Project of the Year 2023.
at the 8th edition of the RetrofitTech MENA Summit on Tuesday evening.

Armstrong Fluid Technology was recognised for its cutting-edge smart solutions that have amplified energy efficiency within the Park Hyatt hotel in Doha.
By combining high-quality hardware with artificial intelligence and IoT capabilities, Armstrong Fluid Technology’s HVAC equipment retrofit generated outstanding energy savings of $31,902 in just one year.
The company’s patented Design Envelope variable speed pumps, Parallel Sensorless Pump Control technology, and Pump Manager remote monitoring software were all installed to optimise HVAC performance within the hotel, stated the report.
The strategic combination of technologies not only improved occupant comfort and safety but also boosted system efficiency by 75%.
