According to the report, Teledyne FLIR is preparing to showcase its Electric Utility Solutions product portfolio at Middle East Energy 2023, with the goal of lowering energy costs and reducing loss and downtime.
The World Trade Center will host an exhibition from March 7-9.
According to the report, some energy-saving solutions will be on display at Stand H4.E50, including FLIR HD Thermal Camera with Viewfinder, Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera, Optical Gas Imaging Camera, and Extech Test & Measurement Solutions for the Utilities Industry.Visitors to the FLIR Teledyne stand can experience new energy solutions and technologies and perfect their energy strategies.
Middle East Energy provides a unique platform for energy leaders to debate and shape the future.
Experts from across the region and beyond join forces to plot the best route through the energy transition.
"The electrical and mechanical industries recognised the importance of predictive maintenance programs," said the report.
A report talking about the Teledyne FLIR T1020 HD Thermal Imaging Camera stated, "The ground-breaking product on display is the Teledyne FLIR T1020 HD Thermal Imaging Camera." "For decades, electrical and mechanical industries worldwide have recognised the importance of predictive maintenance programs, with thermal imaging cameras playing a significant role in their effective delivery."
"With an impressive temperature measurement range of -40 C up to 2000 C, up to 3.1 MP resolution thermal imaging using FLIR’s UltraMax technology, and a choice of 3 high-fidelity OSX precision HDIR lenses, the T1020 is a powerful tool for maintaining industrial systems."
In addition to this, FLIR will also showcase the FLIR Si124 industrial acoustic imaging camera.
According to the report, the FLIR Si124-PD acoustic imaging camera can help detect partial discharge from high-voltage electrical systems up to 10 times faster than traditional methods. Built with 124 microphones, this lightweight, one-handed solution produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud industrial environments.
The report also mentioned the camera's features, such as the acoustic image being transposed in real time on top of a digital camera picture, allowing users to precisely pinpoint the source of the sound. The Si124-PD features a plugin that enables users to import acoustic images to the FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation.
Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si124-PD can help facilities save money on utility bills. Additional models with a cordless battery option are available: the Si124-LD for leak-detection applications or the Si124 for both electric utility and leak-detection applications.
Environmental protection agencies have the responsibility to make sure emissions fall within policy guidelines.
report said, "Electrical utilities use SF6 as an insulator gas." This is very useful, but harmful to the environment. Environmental protection agencies have the responsibility to make sure that these emissions fall within governmental and international policy guidelines.
To help them with that task, environmental protection agencies can use the FLIR GF306 optical gas imaging camera.
This camera visualizes sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and other gas emissions without the need to shut down operations.
As the comment on the gas detection report stated, GF306 inspections are faster than traditional leak-detection tools and are capable of detecting SF6, anhydrous ammonia (NH3), and ethylene (C2H4). thus improving efficiency and reducing revenue loss.
Sharing thoughts on FLIR’s participation at Middle East Energy, T. P. Singh, Senior Director of Sales – Instruments in the Middle East, said, "Teledyne FLIR designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes technologies that enhance perception and awareness. "Teledyne FLIR strives to strengthen public safety and well-being, increase energy and time efficiency, and contribute to healthy and intelligent communities."
"Middle East Energy is a perfect platform to showcase our solutions, which are designed to maximise efficiency, safety, and uptime in a multitude of industrial environments for industries in the utilities and oil and gas sectors."
